After unsuccessful runs with the New Orleans Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers, Chris Paul found a new home with the Houston Rockets, teaming up with James Harden to strengthen their championship hopes.
Despite leading the Rockets to back-to-back Western Conference Finals appearances, Paul fell short of reaching the NBA Finals. His tenure in Houston ended abruptly after the 2018-2019 season when he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
During his time in Houston, Paul and his wife invested in a stunning 10,000-square-foot villa, purchasing the luxurious property for $6.9 million in 2018. However, with his sudden departure, the couple put the estate on the market for $8.3 million.
After some negotiations, the property ultimately sold for $7.2 million—just above their initial purchase price. Though his Houston chapter closed, Paul’s real estate moves continue to reflect his dynamic career in the NBA.
