Beyoncé recently shared details of her private family life, including how she feels about her oldest daughter Blue Ivy joining her renowned Renaissance Tour and how she watches her kids grow.
The specifics were revealed by the worldwide phenomenon in an email interview with GQ for its October issue.
Blue is a creative person. Regarding her 12-year-old daughter, whom she shares with husband Jay-Z, Beyoncé told the publication, "She has great taste in music and fashion." She is an amazing performer, painter, and editor. Since the age of three, she has been developing characters.
At a performance in Paris in May 2023, Blue Ivy made her stage debut on the Renaissance World Tour. She then delighted fans by performing in a number of other shows during the tour.
She saw her baby "grow more and more every night" during the tour, which ended in October 2023, Beyoncé told GQ.
"She's a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage," she stated. Blue desired to have it for herself. She earned it by taking it seriously. Above all, she had a good time.
The "Cowboy Carter" singer also talked about giving her kids an own environment to maintain some "normalcy" in spite of their wildly successful parents.
"One thing I've worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn't turned into a brand," she stated.
According to her, prominent celebrities easily integrate their personal lives into "performance art."
"I have worked really hard to protect my family and myself and to maintain my limits. "My peace is not worth any amount of money," she declared.
In 2008, Beyoncé and Jay-Z tied the knot, and in 2012, they welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy. The twins, Sir and Rumi, were born to the couple in 2017.
"Having three children is difficult. kids become more like themselves as kids age, with their own demands, interests, and social lives," she told GQ. "God sent me my twins. Being a parent teaches you a lot about yourself. It requires patience and a lot of prayer. I adore it. It's rewarding and reassuring.
In March, the singer of "Texas Hold 'Em" released her first full-length country album, "Cowboy Carter," her eighth studio album. The album was a huge hit, peaking at number one on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart for four weeks, becoming Beyoncé the first Black woman to do so.
