Beyoncé catches the eye in green patterned trousers and a matching headscarf as she enjoys dinner with Jay-Z in New York

On Sunday, Beyoncé and Jay-Z had a unique date in New York. 

 Wearing a silk headpiece and funky green pants, both by Pucci, the 42-year-old singer evoked the 1970s as she and the 54-year-old rapper made their way to the eatery Lucille.

 Beyoncé wore an enormous blazer over a form-fitting black vest top and accessorized the ensemble with a green striped purse. 

 She accessorized with black sunglasses and styled her golden blonde hair in a long plait. 

 In contrast, Jay-Z looked athletic in a white pair of sneakers and a blue and black tracksuit.

Before spending time with his wife, the music producer had spent the evening at his 40/40 club pop-up. 

A group of security guards accompanied the famous couple, who were married in 2008, as they entered the outdoor eatery. 

Jay-Z, who had gone to the revamping of his 40/40 club, had a hectic night. 

It follows rumors that he intends to reopen New York City's famous 40/40 Club. 

It was previously disclosed that he intended to incorporate sports gambling into the club at Fanatics Fest and relaunch the iconic club at a new location in the Big Apple.

Jay-Z and his crew will be working on reopening the club in a permanent location early next year after he opens a pop-up at Fanatics Fest this weekend. 

 According to Us Weekly, Jay-Z is currently looking for a new home for the club, which had been open for 20 years when its former Manhattan location closed in August 2023. 

 Sheldon Robinson, the vice president of operations at 40/40 Club, told the publication that Jay "definitely wants to keep it as part of his legacy." 

 Robinson added that as they search for the "right location," the rapper has been "very involved" in the process.

The singer garnered a staggering 12 nominations for her Cowboy Carter album at the upcoming People's Choice Country Awards, which coincided with their most recent appearance.

 The Song of 2024 and The Female Song of 2024 for Texas Hold 'Em, as well as The Cover Song of 2024 for Jolene, are among the nominations, which were revealed earlier this week. 

 Beyoncé is also a nominee for the 2024 Social County Star, Female Artist, and People's Artist awards.  Cowboy Carter received a nomination for 2024's Best Album.

 After being dropped, Cowboy Carter was praised when he was freed on March 29 of this year.

It is the second of a trilogy of albums, the first being Renaissance (2022), and the star's eighth studio album overall. 

 On a variety of music charts, including the Billboard 200, U.S. Folk Albums, and U.S. Top Country Albums, Cowboy Carter achieved number one positions. 

 Additionally, the singles 16 Carriages and Texas Hold 'Em were released prior to the album.  Additionally, Texas Hold 'Em made it to international charts, including the top spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles charts.   

 Blue Ivy, 12, and the twins, Sir and Rumi, 7, are the couple's three children together.
