With good reason, many NBA fans and analysts believe that Giannis Antetokounmpo is the league's top player right now. The NBA champion and two-time MVP has reached his full potential and turned into an unstoppable force. However, his intimidating appearance and dominant style of play are the complete contrast of Giannis's off-court persona as a corny father and family man.
Dad makes jokes
When discussing some of the NBA's top stars right now, we typically picture flamboyant men who are everywhere—from advertisements to special events—and who lead lavish lives. Giannis, however, appears to be the complete opposite.
Antetokounmpo, who came from nothing and grew up on the gritty streets of Greece, is a very modest man who values his family. And it hasn't changed now that he is so wealthy and accomplished. Giannis is not the kind of guy who spends his money extravagantly and goes out to parties.
He is far more likely to be seen playing with his children, making jokes about dads, making fun of his wife, and being truly funny in his homemade films. Giannis chose to recount his wife's infidelity and make it into a ridiculous comedy in a recent Instagram post.
