The news of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's death earlier this month stunned the entire music industry.  Fans and other musicians paid tribute to the departed rock star and expressed their condolences to the artist's family on social media.  The amazing song that Jay-Z dedicated to Bennington during his performance at Virgin's V Festival this past weekend is just too much for our hearts to handle.

Linkin Park and Jay-Z collaborated on the EP Collision Course in 2004, as you may remember.  Jay-Z paid a respectable homage to his deceased friend by performing a song from their shared past.

 Jay-Z went with "Numb/Encore," which is without a doubt the most well-known track on the EP and even won the Grammy Award for "Best Rap Collaboration" in 2006.
