The news of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's death earlier this month stunned the entire music industry. Â Fans and other musicians paid tribute to the departed rock star and expressed their condolences to the artist's family on social media. Â The amazing song that Jay-Z dedicated to Bennington during his performance at Virgin's V Festival this past weekend is just too much for our hearts to handle.
Linkin Park and Jay-Z collaborated on the EP Collision Course in 2004, as you may remember. Â Jay-Z paid a respectable homage to his deceased friend by performing a song from their shared past.
Jay-Z went with "Numb/Encore," which is without a doubt the most well-known track on the EP and even won the Grammy Award for "Best Rap Collaboration" in 2006.
