Jay-Z is selling limited edition bottles of champagne for VERY expensive prices

Blanc de Noirs Vintage 2015 is the inaugural vintage offering from Jay-Z's champagne business Armand de Brignac.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that a 1.5L magnum bottle, which is a limited edition item, will start selling for $3,400 in November.

The 54-year-old rapper-turned-mogul, who is married to Beyoncé, created a limited-edition beverage brand that included 1,258 bottles with hand-applied French pewter labels.

According to the magazine, the wine was released on February 8 after resting in vaults for more than seven years.

The 2015 Blanc de Noirs Vintage mixes flavors with tangerine, almond, cinnamon, plum, and strawberry undertones.

The rich pour, which has been called a "symphony of flavors," also contains a hint of violet flower.

One sip ends in a "pleasing and elegant length, leaving hints of gingerbread, orange, and the refined essence of licorice," according to the brand's teaser.

Its flavor is a reflection of the wet spring and hot, dry summer of 2015.

Along with Demi-Sec, a Gold Brut, Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, and Blanc de Noirs Assemblage No. 4, the new beverage is part of Armand de Brignac's portfolio.

This comes three years after Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, sold LVMH's wine and spirits division, Moët Hennessy, a 50% interest.

In August, Beyoncé, Carter's longtime companion and an entertainer and businesswoman, introduced SirDavis, a whiskey.

The star's paternal great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a prosperous moonshiner headquartered in the South during Prohibition, is honored by the brand name.

"I've always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whiskey and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling," she said when announcing her most recent project two months ago.

"It felt like my love for whiskey was fated when I learned that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man," the singer-songwriter went on.  SirDavis is my way of honoring him and bringing us together with a new common heritage.

Together with Moët Hennessy, we have created a delectable American whiskey that honors history while enabling consumers to try something fresh and different in the market.  Welcome, Sir Davis. You can taste it better than I could ever explain.
