This image was taken in the final moments of a playful interaction between the two that found Jay shadow-boxing with his girlfriend of three years, but when he mistakenly tapped her right wrist too hard she pulled back in shock and he received "the look."

In the previous four weeks Bey had been touring Europe with her Destiny's Child bandmates on their final concert tour "Destiny Fulfilled… and Lovin’ It." Hov, who at the time was working as the President and CEO of Def Jam Recordings, took a private jet to join the singer in Portofino in Italy on the 13th, and they spent the next week traveling the Mediterranean Sea.

After beginning their annual European Summer holiday in Portofino they headed to Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera and spent six days there. Accompanying them were their close friends" OG Juan" and Desiree Perez, Jay and Kawanna Brown, and Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith and his then-wife Marquita.

Upon the couple's return to the United States they attended both a New York Yankees game and the Floyd Mayweather vs. Arturo Gatti fight in New Jersey.
