KING’S LIFESTYLE: LeBron James takes time for a luxurious pedicure in Beverly Hills before returning to the NBA

Before playing in the NBA again on Tuesday, Lebron James took a pedicure in Beverly Hills, but it didn't help him win.

Before his team faced the Phoenix Suns, the Cleveland Cavaliers player, who had been out for two weeks due to back and knee issues, was taking no chances and made sure his lightning-fast feet, which allow him to move quickly around the court, were in perfect shape.

The player, known as King James, appeared to be luminous with health, and his attire was colorful as well.  For the pampering session, he wore a bright orange T-shirt and sparkling Nike sneakers.

James played little under 37 minutes and scored 33 points during the game, which Phoenix won 107-100.

The Cavaliers had hoped that things would quickly turn around with James' return.  During his longest stint on the sidelines in his career, he missed eight games and they lost seven of them.

Before the game, James said that if his team had been winning, he might have taken more time off. He also noted that it was difficult to watch the Cavaliers lose while he was sitting around doing nothing.

Toe-tally ready for action: James had the pedicure after being sidelined for two weeks

"It's the hardest thing I've ever experienced," James remarked.  "We were playing some pretty good ball when I went out, and we just lost a lot of games while I was out, which I hated."

Shawn Marion, a vital reserve, returned to the Cavaliers after missing two games due to a strained hip.

James said the squad only needed to keep concentrating on the things that had them getting better before to his injury layoff. The team had a difficult start as it adapted to the superstar's return to his original NBA club after four seasons in Miami.

James stated, "We simply need to keep working on the routines and skills we've developed throughout the season."  We've had some excellent basketball games as well as some bad ones.

"Obviously, we haven't played very well lately, so hopefully we pick it up again."

When James wrapped his arm around the Duchess of Cambridge last December, it caused some people to take notice.

Following a Brooklyn Nets game in New York, Prince William and Kate posed with the celebrity while receiving a shirt for Prince George.

Relaxing: It wasn't just James's feet that were pampered, he also had a head massage

However, Mr. James violated protocol by placing his arm around the Duchess' shoulder as the camera flashed.

The scene that raised eyebrows came after Prince William met with President Barack Obama at the White House and the royal pair met musical royalty Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z.

William Hanson, an etiquette expert, told MailOnline that even if the Duchess is unlikely to ignore Mr. James, he should have kept his arm away from her.

"Mr. James should not have put his arm around the Duchess of Cambridge, but I am sure she won't have worried about it," he remarked.

Another instance of an American being overly sentimental toward British aristocracy is this: Americans are far more tactile than we Brits.  You would think that by now they would have figured it out.  "A shower would have been better, but he had just finished a game, so there's even more reason why he didn't lift his arm and put it around Her Royal Highness and open his pits," Mr. Hanson continued.

But since LeBron only briefly put his arm around Kate as they were posing for a picture, there was no malice meant, no picture was taken, and it was a really laid-back moment.
