Ann Iverson, a real mother, then took a trip down memory lane, recalling their early encounters throughout James' career.

"I was simply telling them that I didn't care about seeing anyone else but you when you initially started and when you guys played and whatnot.  LeBron laughed, remembering those times with nostalgia, "I used to stand by the locker room, and you'd come out in your shorts and stuff and see me and say hey."

Mommy Iverson was always ready with pictures for James to sign.  He dutifully signed them, adding that she had only been missing his son Bronny.  She replied with a kind grin, adding that she would have also asked the young rookie for an autograph.  Then he inquired as to the whereabouts and health of her son.

The careers of Allen Iverson and James almost overlapped.  Iverson joined the NBA as the first overall choice in 1996, and James did the same almost ten years later in 2003.  By the time LeBron made headlines in his rookie season, Iverson was still ruling the NBA, even though James was still in high school when he was at the height of his powers.  Up until Iverson's last NBA season in 2010, their careers crossed paths, and James has since cemented his place among the greatest of all time.
