LeBron James transformed into a character from God of War to celebrate the success of God of War Ragnarok

James is overflowing with joy with God of War Ragnarok's remarkable triumph.  The eagerly awaited PlayStation game was finally launched earlier this month after nearly five years of waiting. 

Although it wasn't strictly required, it was formally announced just before the 2020 PlayStation 5 release, giving Sony plenty of time to spark interest.  Fans were eagerly looking forward to this game after the last one's outstanding performance, so when Sony said nothing for about a year and then again before the game's 2022 release, many were left in full confusion. 

Many people were so desperate for news that they were afraid the game might end badly if they were left without it for an extended period of time.

In addition to receiving a ton of praise from critics and being nominated for multiple awards, God of War Ragnarok is the PlayStation exclusive with the fastest sales ever.  With more than 5.1 million copies sold in its first week, Sony was ecstatic with the game's success, and now another important person is getting in on the fun. 

LeBron James, dressed as Kratos, expressed his joy at God of War Ragnarok's victory on Twitter.  The NBA star starred with Ben Stiller and John Trevolta in a recent God of War: Ragnarok commercial. The difficulties Kratos has with his son Atrues are comparable to the group therapy the three celebrities received with their kids. 

LeBron James hasn't said anything more about the game, but it's great to see a big-name celebrity back one of the most crucial 2022 games.  Which award Sony will take home from next week's Game Awards is still up in the air.  Furthermore, it is unclear when the next God of War game will be released, but it seems Sony Santa Monica will again take its time.
