Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is enjoying a luxurious and comfortable lifestyle aboard his $12 million private jet

LeBron James has amassed a number of noteworthy achievements during his illustrious time in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

 LeBron James's three NBA titles and hefty endorsement deals totaling an incredible $480 million demonstrate how familiar he is with the lavish world of fame and wealth.  He recently purchased a G280 Gulfstream private jet, which is reported to be worth $22 million, and has won the NBA Most Valuable Player title four times.

LeBron James' unwavering devotion to his family is well known.  He frequently uses his own aircraft to spend priceless time with them.  He commissioned a G280 plane to fly to his son LeBron James Jr.'s high school basketball game, which is a great example of this.  In an effort to instill in his kids the value of humility and gratitude for their wealth, LeBron James has gone so far as to prohibit them from using his private jet.

LeBron James frequently took holidays and family visits in 2010 using his private jet.  The only other time he used it was to attend his close friend Carmelo Anthony's marriage ceremony.  Adidas offered to give LeBron James and his buddies a private plane so they could go to a Lakers game and sit courtside during his early NBA career.

It was expected that Adidas will sign James to a sponsorship deal.  LeBron James was offered a $100 million contract and an extra incentive, but he finally decided to commit to Nike rather than take the offer from another company.  LeBron James was not convinced by the opportunities presented to him, even after Adidas CEO Sonny Vaccaro made a great effort to get his endorsement.
