In an effort to give back, the Antetokounmpo brothers are throwing away a fully restored Athens home with a view of the Acropolis in collaboration with Greek influencer Alexandros Kopsialis and the real estate firm Greek Home.

It is well known that the Antetokounmpo siblings are philanthropic.  The brothers donated half of the profits from their online store to the victims of the devastating fires that destroyed large areas of Greece throughout the summer.


 A few weeks prior, Giannis had declared that he would cover the short-term lodging costs at five hotels in the Athens area for people displaced by the wildfires, in collaboration with a sports betting company.

 The brothers are well-known for giving back to their local communities in the US, where they currently reside, as well as to the people of Greece, where they were born.

Known as the "Greek Freak," Giannis frequently provides food, cash, and voluntary labor to the homeless population in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

 Giannis, a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, has traveled to the United States to represent Greece.  The NBA player, who was born to Nigerian immigrants, obtained Greek citizenship in 2013.

Due to his parents' difficulty finding employment as illegal immigrants, Giannis and his older brother Thanasis assisted by selling sunglasses, purses, and watches on the street.

 Antetokounmpo began playing basketball in 2007 and joined Filathlitikos, his local team, in 2011.  The Milwaukee Bucks selected him in the draft following a brief stay in Spain.

 On the Bradley Center court in 2013, Antetokounmpo stood between his parents and looked up at the roof, where the retired Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson jerseys hung in the rafters.
