Linkin Park has released a new song that features Chester Bennington's voice, five years after the tragic and devastating death of Bennington.
According to Pinkvilla, Linkin Park recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their album Meteora by surprising fans with a song called "Lost," which features the voice of their late leader Chester Bennington.
The band has chosen to release an anime music video for Lost in addition to the new song.
Numb and Breaking the Heart, two of the band's most well-known and cherished songs, are reportedly reminiscent of Lost.
The official Linkin Park YouTube account now has the video available.
Soon after the music video was released, fans from all around the world poured their emotions into the video's comment section.
One fan remarked, "A person only dies when he doesn't leave his legacy, Chester will always be alive in our memories." Â "Can't believe it's almost 6 years since he left us to be among the legends and his friends up there," wrote another fan in a remark. Â I cried uncontrollably when I heard his voice again and realized that this had been released on my birthday. Â Chester, you are loved. Â LP, you have my affection. Â You will always be my number one, regardless of how many years go by. Â You will always be cherished and supported in my heart.
