Tom Brady and daughter Vivian pose with LeBron James at glitzy Olympics party to celebrate USA Basketball's 50th anniversary

LeBron James and Tom Brady met at a star-studded celebration of USA Basketball's 50th anniversary in Paris on Monday.

 USA Basketball had a lavish celebration to commemorate 50 years since its founding in August 1974, while its men's and women's teams continue to aim for Olympic gold.

 Several American sports stars attended the party, including Brady, who is in the French city to watch the Olympics this summer. Brady was spotted conversing with NBA great LeBron and his wife, Savannah.

After the two sports icons connected, NBC Sports posted a video of the NFL legend meeting Savannah on social media, and it swiftly went viral.

 Later in the evening, Brady posted a photo on his Instagram account featuring him and his daughter Vivian, age 11.

'We got your back!!! @usabasketball @kingjames' was the caption he wrote on the photo.

 Brady met other American basketball stars that evening, including LeBron, who is hoping to win his third Olympic gold medal with the United States this summer in Paris.

 As he celebrated USA Basketball's 50th anniversary, the seven-time Super Bowl champion also received a picture with Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, and Jayson Tatum.

 In other news, Steph Curry was spotted chatting with Katie Ledecky, the American swimming sensation who has won four medals at this summer's Paris Games.

 Tyrese Haliburton, Anthony Edwards, and A'Ja Wilson were among those spotted arriving to the event that evening.

Brady and his daughter Vivian were in the audience earlier in the day to support American gymnast Simone Biles during her last two Olympic competitions while she was in Paris.

 Minutes after seemingly hurting herself during warm-ups, Biles finished her Olympic career with a silver medal in the floor exercise, although she did not win a gold in any event.

The lone event in Paris where she failed to place on the podium was a fall on a balance beam. 

 Fans have, however, made jokes about "GOAT watching GOAT!" because of Brady and Biles' prowess in their respective sports and the former New England Patriots' presence in France. 

 Brady resigned from the NFL last year after winning seven Super Bowls.  With seven golds, Biles holds the record for the most medals ever won by an American gymnast.
