On Sunday night, Beyonce became the most honored female artist in Grammy history.
Despite this, she sent a huge bouquet of flowers to fellow musician Taylor Swift to celebrate her third Album of the Year title for folklore at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards, marking yet another historic victory for Swift.
.
Taylor commended the 39-year-old vocal powerhouse's kind presents and tagged her in a charming Instagram photo of the gorgeous flowers that she shared with her millions of followers.
Taylor wrote in the caption of a picture of the arrangement, "I woke up to flowers from the queen of grace & greatness @beyonce and suddenly it's the best Friday EVER."Â
.
Swift's cat, Olivia Benson, was hanging around in the background as her glistening gold manicured hands gripped a note.Â
Taylor,  Beyonce wrote, "Congratulations on your Grammy."  Seeing you on Sunday night was wonderful.  I appreciate your unwavering support.  I'm sending you and your family love.
During the main event and pre-telecast ceremony, Bey took home four awards: Best R&B Performance for Black Parade, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for Savage with Megan Thee Stallion, and Best Music Video for Brown Skin Girl. This brought her total to 28 wins over the years, breaking the previous record of 27 set by Alison Krauss.
'I'm really honored,' she remarked, breaking the record for Best R&B Performance.  I can't wait.
It's been a really tough moment, and I think it's my responsibility as an artistâand oursâto represent the times.  I therefore wished to inspire and uplift all Black kings and queens.  It is such a lovely night that I find it hard to believe this has happened.
After accepting the award for folklore, Taylor also received recognition for being the first female to win Album of the Year three times.
Â
As she accepted the award, she spoke of her lover Joe Alwyn, "Joe is the first person that I play every single song that I write, and I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine."
"We can never express how honored we are that you guys met us in this made-up world that we created."  Many thanks, and thanks to the Recording Academy as well.  You did this for us, and we will always remember it.  Thank you very much.
