Beyonce wears Prince T-shirt in honor of his birthday... 20 YEARS after their legendary duet of Purple Rain at the Grammy Awards

On what would have been Prince's 66th birthday, Beyonce shared a sweet Instagram montage on Friday of herself sporting a t-shirt that promoted her late duet partner. 

Prince's classic 1984 track Purple Rain was part of a medley that Prince and Beyonce performed together onstage at the 2004 Grammy Awards.

Two decades later, Beyonce has finally spoken with her followers her deep-seated fondness for Prince, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 57 from an accidental overdose. 

She posed repeatedly while wearing her Prince t-shirt, which she accessorized with a pair of cat-eye sunglasses and a pair of stylishly baggy acid wash jeans.

She swept her platinum blonde hairdo back and accessorized it with an opulent coat that might have been imitation fur.

Prince accompanied Beyonce on the electric guitar in her fan favorite song, Crazy In Love, which was part of their Grammy duet. 

In a subsequent interview, Prince expressed his opinion of Beyonce's musical prowess during their collaboration. 

"I wanted to know how much she knew about music, and I was thrilled to learn that she was well-versed in Egyptian styles, Mixolydian scales, and other things like that," he said.

She is quite talented, so I was just trying to teach her some piano chords and help her understand that the possibilities are endless if she learns the instrument like Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin.

 Her latest Prince photos were made a day after Beyonce made a comeback to Instagram, sparking rumors that Diddy is somehow linked to her weeks-long hiatus from the spotlight. 

 The 42-year-old 32-time Grammy Award winner shared numerous glitzy photos of herself wearing a busty suede dress and a beige cowboy hat.

Since the release of her new album, Cowboy Carter, in March, Beyonce has 'disappeared' and hasn't been seen on a red carpet since the iHeart Radio Music Awards on April 1.

 According to a bizarre conspiracy theory, Beyonce and her 54-year-old husband Jay-Z are 'lying low' in the wake of their ex-friend Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sexual abuse scandal, according to Page Six. 

 The couple are 'nervous' about attracting attention to their Diddy connections, according to a source, which is why Beyonce is deliberately ignoring the Cowboy Carter promotion.

Eight lawsuits have been filed against Combs, 54, for alleged major offenses spanning 30 years, including rape, physical abuse, sex trafficking, and racketeering. 

 Homeland Security agents raided the music mogul's homes in Miami and Los Angeles in March as part of a sex-trafficking investigation that could result in a grand jury indictment.

 A terrifying video of Combs brutally beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel corridor in 2016 was made public in May.

In a shocking lawsuit filed in November 2023, Cassie, who had dated Combs for ten years, accused him of rape and physical abuse. The complaint was settled the same day for $30 million.

 Three days after the Diddy raids, Beyonce's Cowboy Carter was released on March 29. It topped the Billboard 200 album chart for two weeks in a row.

 Beyonce became the first Black woman to top the country album charts with her songs featuring Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, and Dolly Parton.

 "Beyoncé's highly anticipated country album was released [just] two months ago, so this was supposed to be her time," the source for Page Six stated.

 Nevertheless, she is not visible at all.  Jay and B aren't enjoying the limelight, and the album is failing.
