Jay-Z is respected by DJ Khaled for working with him to produce the best music!

 Known for his lavish lifestyle and successful collaborations, DJ Khaled is more than simply a successful musician; he is a modest man who enjoys showing thanks, particularly to his friends and mentors.  Jay-Z, a frequent collaborator on several of DJ Khaled's chart-topping songs, including the recent hit song "God Did" with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, is one of the most notable people on his list of thanks.

"I had an idea to get Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z together on a track.  I then sent Jay-Z the beat, and presto!  He dropped his verse in a single fluid take because he enjoyed it.  He then handed the reins to Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, who quickly started writing their verses.  It was like catching lightning in a bottle to see the artists' synergy and trust.  Being a part of this historic cooperation made me feel really fortunate.

 The story doesn't stop there, though, as DJ Khaled also thanked Jay-Z for his performance at the Grammy Awards.

DJ Khaled recently revealed his unvarnished admiration for Jay-Z in a confrontation with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay.  It seems that Khaled sends an astounding 100 SMS per month to Jay-Z's inbox, thanking him for the numerous ways that Jay-Z has influenced his life.  Khaled gave the origin of their Grammy-nominated song, "God Did," and described Jay-Z as a big brother who is generous, humble, and always reacting with love and respect.

It was a dream come true to perform on stage with Jay-Z, the indisputable best rapper of all time. Before the show, I was nervous, but my confidant and mentor, Jay-Z, helped me relax and gain confidence. I was inspired and honored by his post-performance motivational speech. 

DJ Khaled's appreciation reverberates beyond his own boundaries. Rick Ross and Lil Wayne both added their voices to the chorus praising Jay-Z's friendship and impact. Lil Wayne, who praised Jay-Z as his hero, said he felt a great sense of honor from working with him. Referring to Jay-Z as his brother, Rick Ross expressed his appreciation for the constant support and direction.

Not only is DJ Khaled a master of hip-hop, but he is also a man who embodies the maxim, "We the best!"
