'EXTREME HARDSHIP': Mariah, Giannis Antetokounmpo's fiancée, addresses the challenges of being the partner of the Nigerian-Greek NBA star

Mariah Riddlesprigger and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been together for more than eight years.

 In addition to becoming a basketball phenomenon since joining the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013, Giannis Antetokounmpo has established his family in the area.

  In addition to being the NBA player's location of employment, the Antetokounmpo family now calls Milwaukee "home." 

 The family, which consists of three young children, has integrated itself into the neighborhood and developed a special relationship with the city that extends beyond the basketball court.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's career has taken off in Milwaukee, but his fiancée, Mariah Riddlesprigger, had to figure out who she was. 

 Mariah talks about how the Antetokounmpo Foundation helped her discover her vocation.

 The 31-year-old Riddlesprigger talked candidly about her personal hardships as an NBA superstar's spouse in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.

 "I myself suffered for a very long period.  What am I interested in doing?

  "It's hard to find your own identity sometimes because your life is so much them, your significant other, and what they do."

Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation (CAFF), "a social impact organization" founded by the NBA star's family last year, seeks to "unlock the potential inside every person—no matter where they start out or what difficulties they face."

 Given the expense of diapers, Riddlesprigger disclosed that getting ready for the birth of her first baby truly made her more aware of the needs of the community. 

 "We didn't realize how expensive diapers are until we were like, 'Whoa, diapers are expensive,'" she stated.

 Appropriately named Maverick's Diaper Mission, the two organized their first BIG Give Back diaper and fund campaign in Milwaukee in 2021.  Additionally, Riddlesprigger thinks that CAFF joining her for this year's campaign was "a no-brainer".

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the star of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Mariah Riddlesprigger, his longterm girlfriend, are engaged at the moment.

 The pair discreetly disclosed that they are engaged after revealing the sex of their third child in September 2023.

 After referring to Riddlespringer as his fiancée, he declared, "Soon [I'm going] to be married to this beautiful woman next to me."

 On September 17, 1992, Riddlesprigger was born in Fresno, California.
