Rap mogul Jay-Z and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin took their bromance to celeb-favorite strip mall omakase, Sushi Park, in West Hollywood

On Tuesday night, Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin and rapper Jay-Z brought their bromance to West Hollywood's Sushi Park, a popular strip mall.

 The 51-year-old Brooklyn native and the 44-year-old Englishman, who have been friends since 2003, appeared to be having a great conversation on the balcony of the second story.

 Despite the CDC's recent directives to only wear face masks indoors or in public, both guys wore them, and Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) was holding an artwork wrapped in bubble wrap.  

He is a fantastic songwriter and recording artist, but it is when he performs live that he truly shines.  You won't regret seeing Coldplay live if you have the opportunity.

 Martin contributed guest vocals to the high-rolling hip-hop artist's songs "Beach Chair" (2006) and "Most Kingz" (2010).

 The seven-time Grammy winner and his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, were notably invited by Jay-Z to his private wedding to Beyoncé Knowles in 2008.

 The 48-year-old Oscar winner refers to Jay and Bey as "Uncle Jay" and "Auntie B." Their two kids call them members of her "mishpocheh," which is Yiddish for "your gang, your family."  

 When talking about their connection back in 2017, the 23-time Grammy winner referred to Chris as a "genius" and a "modern day Shakespeare."

 Jay told Metro's Guilty Pleasures, "We are good friends, but what I got to say has nothing to do with our friendship."

 I've worked in the business long enough to recognize geniuses, and Chris Martin is one of them.  He will be remembered in Britain as a contemporary Shakespeare in the years to come.
