Jay-Z buys artwork of Beyonce from a fan after spotting the paintings on TV during his wife's Renaissance tour

After seeing the artwork on the news, Jay-Z purchased it from a Beyonce fan.

 After bringing her paintings to the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where Beyonce was performing as part of her Renaissance tour, Lauryn Michele made an appearance on NBC.

 Following his admiration for the artwork, Jay-Z purchased three works that featured his 15-year wife. 

 Within a day, Lauryn's TikTok account had tens of thousands of views after she shared the news.

 "POV: you were on the news and Jay-Z bought your paintings," she wrote as the caption for the video.

After the artist showed her work to the TV cameras and filmed herself watching the report that night, the video followed her as she arrived at the East Rutherford location.

 The payoff at the end of the clip showed Lauryn standing with the huge paintings on either side of her, her arm wrapped around her subject's spouse.

 Incredulous users poured into the comments section to express their awe and commend Lauryn's talent.

 Lauryn shared a video of herself creating one of the pieces three days prior, showcasing the meticulous amount of work that goes into the artwork.

 Her conversation with the artist Empire State Of Mind garnered much over 10 times as many views as that, which only reached the low thousands.

In the past, Lauryn has sold her paintings to celebrities, like Megan Thee Stallion and Ariana Fletcher, better known as Kyle Sister.

 In the meantime, Beyonce has been working diligently on her current tour. 

 Beyoncé performs the songs from Renaissance in order, interspersing them with songs from her discography. The two and a half-hour Renaissance event is divided into six segments.

Critics gave the show high marks, praising Beyoncé's vocal performance and the production value in particular.

 The pop sensation took the concert to North America after touring Europe through June 28. On July 8, they performed in Toronto, Canada.

 She made the long journey to East Rutherford, New Jersey for the July 29 and 30 performances at Met Life Stadium.

 The tour is expected to go through the United States and make one more stop north of the border in Vancouver before coming to a close on October 1 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
