Linkin Park Honor Chester Bennington's Fearlessness and Big Heart in Emotional Letter: 'You Touched So Many Lives'

In a letter to Chester Bennington, the singer who committed suicide by hanging in Los Angeles last Thursday, his longtime bandmates express their sorrow and anguish.

 Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, and Rob Bourdon of Linkin Park write that their "hearts are broken" and that Bennington's "absence leaves a void that can never be filled" in their first public statement since the passing of their frontman.  

As they acknowledge that "the demons who took you away from us were always part of the deal," the group also discusses the rocker's battle with depression.  After all, everyone fell in love with you in the first place because of the way you sung about those demons.
