Linkin Park's 22-year-old album 'Meteora' returns to No. 1 on Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums chart, surpassing their new album 'From Zero' featuring Emily Armstrong.

Linkin Park's 20th anniversary deluxe version of Meteora propels the album back to the top of the Billboard album rankings.  On April 7, the 2003-released set was reissued in an extended edition that included bonus tracks and was accessible in a variety of formats.

The band's second studio album jumps 23-1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, re-enters the Top Album Sales list (dated April 22) at No. 3, and re-enters the Top Rock Albums, Catalog Albums, and Vinyl Albums chart at No. 1.  It's the album's first week at the top of the last four charts.  Meteora, which was the group's first of six No. 1s on the Billboard 200, makes a comeback at No. 8.

In the meantime, NF achieves his third No. 1 on Top Album Sales with his new studio album Hope at the top of the list, and Daniel Caesar achieves his first top 10 with Never Enough at number 10.

Based only on conventional album sales, Billboard's Top Album Sales chart lists the best-selling albums of the week.  The chart's history began on May 25, 1991, the first week that Billboard started using electronically monitored piece count data from SoundScan (now Luminate) to tabulate charts.

Up until the December 6, 2014, list, the Billboard 200 albums chart used only album sales as its metric. After that, it used a methodology that combines album sales with track equivalent album units and streaming equivalent album units.  Follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on Instagram and Twitter for all chart news.

The most popular rock, hard rock, and catalog albums of the week are ranked by equivalent album units under the headings of Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums, and Top Catalog Albums.  (Older albums, usually ones that are at least 18 months old, are referred to as catalog albums.)  Vinyl records lists the week's best-selling vinyl records.  (In 2006 and 2007, respectively, the Top Rock Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts were launched, following Meteora's first album and Billboard 200 success.)

In the week ending April 13, 19,500 copies of Meteora were sold in the US.  It sold fewer than 500 copies the week before.  Digital downloads account for 1,500 of its 19,500 sales, while physical sales make up 18,000 (13,000 on vinyl and 5,000 on CD).

When Meteora first appeared at the top of the Billboard 200 list on April 12, 2003, it was Linkin Park's first of six No. 1s.  The group's second studio album topped the charts for two weeks.  Prior to Meteora, the group recorded two No. 2-peaking albums, Hybrid Theory, their debut studio set, and Reanimation, a remix project (both in 2002).

Five No. 1s on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart were produced by the set after Meteora's initial release: "Somewhere I Belong," "Faint," "Numb," "Lying From You," and "Breaking the Habit."
