Following the conclusion of her Formation World Tour, Beyonce is taking some much-needed time off.

 Jay Z was therefore overjoyed to spend a day with their young daughter Blue Ivy on Monday, spending time together as father and daughter.

 On Monday, the 46-year-old was seen in New York with the four-year-old at a restaurant with a view of the Hudson River.

As always, Blue Ivy looked gorgeous wearing a black Adidas jumper, a pink tutu skirt, and a matching baseball cap.

 Her father, meanwhile, was wearing a red plaid shirt, a white New York City T-shirt, Timberland boots, matching pants, and a black baseball cap.

 After eating al fresco and enjoying a salad, Jay Z and Blue Ivy took a stroll while the sun was setting.

 The rapper had thrilled Beyonce's fans three days prior by performing with her during the last leg of her tour.

The delighted pair gave a performance at East Rutherford, New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.

 The tour, which was in promotion of Beyonce's album Lemonade, began in April and went through Europe, Canada, and North America.

 The singer's doctor put her on vocal rest, so her East Rutherford show, which was originally scheduled for a month earlier, had to be postponed.

During the performance, Beyonce's close friends Serena Williams and Kendrick Lamar also joined her.

 Blue will turn five in January, while the Destiny's Child actress celebrated her ninth wedding anniversary with Jay Z in April.

 At the same time, Beyoncé has been nominated for five awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards, which will be held on Sunday, November 6 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
