What percentage of people can claim to have been engaged aboard a private plane?  NBA player Kyle Kuzma and his girlfriend Winnie Harlow are able to as of this month!  On February 18, the couple shared a selection of images from the extravagant proposal on Instagram to announce their engagement.  One of The Knot's top engagement ring trends for 2025 is the stunning three-stone diamond that the soon-to-be bride showed off.

In an interview with Vogue, the couple talked candidly about the unexpected gesture that happened five days earlier in Turks & Caicos.  The sportsman, who now plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, started reciting a poem to his girlfriend as they got on their chartered flight.  Given the roses, petals, and champagne adorning the aircraft, Harlow remarked, "For a moment, I thought, 'This would be so cute if this was an engagement.'"  However, I'm also not the kind of guy that likes to give away a surprise or guess.  Thus, it was only a passing idea in my mind.
