"I'm sick of the rudeness." Ahead of the upcoming season, Giannis Antetokounmpo talks about disrespect and shaves his hair.
Even though eight teams are still in the NBA playoffs, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is ready for the upcoming campaign.
The 2022–23 season ended in disappointment for both the player and the team, even though the 28-year-old was a two-time MVP and a member of the NBA's 75th Anniversary group.
He wasn't nominated to any of the NBA's All-Defensive teams, despite teammates Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez both making the first team.
The eighth-seeded Miami Heat upset the Bucks in five games in the first round, despite having the best NBA record at 58-24.
The result was shocking even though Jimmy Butler played several excellent games and Antetokounmpo suffered a back ailment during the series.
Mike Budenholzer was fired as head coach of Milwaukee. Lopez is a free agent, while Khris Middleton has until the end of the current campaign to determine whether to exercise his player option.
Antetokounmpo, who obviously has a grudge, is at least committed to the Bucks through 2024–2025.
On social media, Antetokounmpo posted a picture of himself along with the statement, "I'm sick of the disrespect. I'll be there."
Social media activities of Giannis Antetokounmpo
Antetokounmpo praised his former coach Budenholzer on social media for helping the team win the 2021 NBA Championship.
"Thank you for five meaningful years, Coach," said the statement that accompanied pictures of their celebration. We achieved an incredible feat for which I will always be thankful.
Antetokounmpo also used his Instagram stories to show off his new hairdo. For a low-cut buzz, the 28-year-old shaved his dreadlocks.
It is currently anticipated that the Greek Freak would stick to his offseason schedule and play in the FIBA World Cup in 2023 later this year.
