Along with two other previously unheard songs, "Let You Fade" and "Unshatter," Linkin Park published a new song last month titled "Up From The Bottom," which will be included on the deluxe edition of From Zero. Phoenix, the band's bassist, shared his vision for the band's new music timeline on a recent episode of iHeartRadio's It's Mike Jones program.
"In the process of writing for us, we always have a lot of stuff that just doesn't make it, you know, whether we run out of time or whether it's just not coming together how we wanted to come together," he said on the new songs.
Phoenix remarked, "From Zero itself is already a tight, shorter album," "I want to keep putting out new music because I'm not getting any younger and it would make sense to like release some more new enjoyable stuff. Therefore, let's simply provide the content to the fans and let them use it whatever they see fit. However, I'd rather not sit here and wait forever."
Linkin Park doesn't seem to want to wait long to release new music, while it's unknown if they are already working on the follow-up to 2024's From Zero. From Zero's deluxe edition will be available on May 16. On April 26, they will begin a major North American tour in Austin, Texas.
